Today i realized...

Post by TooT »

...I miss my 406. Or more specifically its heated seats :(

What have i done, the price of fuel has come back down so owning me old V6 wouldn't be so bad after all, if only i stuck it out.
But really i cant complain, the Meg hasn't let me down (yet) plus an average of 47mpg is nicer to see than 24 that i used to see.

Still think i might just have a look on autotrader to see if theres any 2000X (for road tax reasons) V6 execs in China Blue or Black with Black leather going cheap 8)

Watch this space

Oh and hello, long time no errrr type

Mine's not too bad a compromise, (Hdi 136 exec), about 42 mpg, £170 road tax & while it doesnt have anything like top end power of the V6, it's not too shabby in terms useable everyday ooomph.
Used to have a 3.0 Omega, but I don't miss it...
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
