this happened to me sometimes back and I posted a post here as well. Checked all the sensors and every bit of wire contacts and it didn't help. This errors seems like "ECU not responded". Most like the ECU is gone according to my electrician. However when I took my car to him, he took the ECU out and done something internally which he did not reveal and bingo, problem solved..

well steve, I tried that bit.... (without the thumb screw part  ) he didn't charge a cent as he's a friend of mine, but he didn't tell me what he did. Checked with one of his subordinates in the workshop and all he saw was my friend split opened the ECU and messing with it for good half a day. Dun know whether he whacked or what now the problem solved and car does well on fuel and smooth. He might've soldered a loosen contact or s'thing. However he saved a lot for me coz ECU's are heavily priced here. Cost of a brand new ones are priced at 130k LKR(790GBP) where as used ones are priced from 30K LKR(182GBP)

I'll go with the dry joint ( :supafrisk: ) but then he was very lucky to find it without a mountain of test gear.

They're not far off that in the UK :( (just wait 'til the dealers realise how much the pound has dropped against the €urine  )
