Steve can you take a pic of your wiper arms up close? As i think mine stand alot prouder from the screen and I will bend mine closer. I guess it may been when I had a new screen fitted he may have bent them out of shape a little . Thank you Rappy
What, now? Ok, I've got to go feed the boiler
Actually, I just noticed the top of the passenger doesn't quite make it to the screen, then with the curve of the screen right there it's not suprising. Anyway, the less my other half can see of the road the better ("watch out for that dog/cat/woman/lorry/inanimate object of her choice")
I suppose the acid test is driving in the rain, which has now stopped

No problem, thats what us fellow members are here for
Yes Steve mine is the same at the top. All I can say I have been driving sh*t loads of rain over the last few weeks. And they stick to the screen very well. No lift off like the older metal type blades. And the wind noise is cut down a lot also.
I think a gentle press of the wiper arm is in order as mine stands alot prouder than the drivers side.
DID YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA OR DID YOU GET THEM FOR A BARGAIN PRICE ALSO?
Think I got mine for about £15 of ebay a couple of years ago. I noticed Tesco were selling them too last time I was over there, and they had a nice high mount so I may well get some from there now I know the sizes

So, like, they just replace the old style blades then? it's not just a D8 thing is it? looks as though the arms would be a little closer to the screen than normal but that's fine.
At the risk of being slated - why are they better than the old style ones? I notice all new cars have them - is it just aerodynamics? stay flat on the screen?
Cars in my care:
2021 Kia Spottage 1.6 Pez Turbo Dual Clutch Gearbox Trickery
2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work

It's down to the make of blade. Mine sit a lot closer to the screen and the halfords ones look like the arm's going to be virtually touching the screen!

They wipe a *lot* better, especially at the ends, and the ones I have didn't start to smear until they hit about 50k miles (averaged about 10k on normal Bosch ones). It's like the difference between taping a squeegee on the end of your wiper arms, or an oily rag ;)
