Do you believe it?

I was wondering where his stereo info was till right at the end, then you see the aftermarket stereo.

Doesn't add up to me, but maybe I'm missing something.
To get 1000 miles you'd need to average better than 66 mpg, but his avg read about 54.
Does't the 1000 miles on the MFD just mean that's how far he's gone since it was reset?
I know you saw the trip recorder flip over 999.9 to 0.0, but that is at odds with the MFD data.
Wonder if he put some more fuel in since the reset and (perhaps genuinely), forgot?

I guess the car's a recent HDi 90 as it seems too low geared for the 136 / later 110 gearbox?

Errrm no. Well not unless he's got a 20 gallon tank anyway.

1000 miles done and 99 to go on a 15.4 gallon tank would require over 71 MPG, but the computer says 54.3 MPG. Even counting the theoretical extra gallon in the filler hose it's still way off. There's either something wrong there or he's done a splash and dash and forgotten about it.... :?

Have expected milage of over 100 on mine, really i think a limit for real driving would be 900 on a tank. could probably get 1000 on private circuit.

I reckon i could have won this weeks topgear challenge in my 406!

Yes, it is possible...read down a bit regarding the 406. I've seen both the 307 and 406! :cheesy:

All he's showing is that he reset the mfd 1000 miles ago

And with 1/8 tank still showing (or 99 miles left) I'd call BS on this one.

Plus he video'd whilst driving which is silly and dangerous so nerr.
