Ford... Fix Or Repair Daily

The measure of a car is it's owner club anyhow, hence why the 406 is so great... 8)
Found On Roadside, Dead
(Unlike Pug: 'Spends its life on your drive')

You definetely get a better class of worried owner on here

I'm surprised you reckon it goes so well as I've heard they're not exactly dynamic

Now, I'm thinking if the Mundano had been a 406, it wouldn't have fetched any more, so you could get one without spending a lot. It's just difficult to do it quickly. You could probably shift the MuddyToe fairly easily as the much of the population like Fords and are, shall we say, less enlightened than us

Reckon you could get another 406 cheap, transfer any good bits from yours, flog it & the F word and not be much further out of pocket. Secret is to do it while there's still enough MOT on the Floored 8)

I'm not biased or anything :supafrisk:

2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

(there's one for Škoda here, I can't remember what the words actually are but anyway, it basically says "pity you didn't buy a real car".)

Yep, the man's right, you should have no problems punting the Frod (unless the odo says 750,000 miles of course) because people really are that, umm, gullable.

I suppose I should have known:

lol @ floored
i used to have a mondeo and it was just superb never ever let me down till the dmf went then it was too expensive to repair i'd had the thing 5 years though
so i'm wondering if its the familiarity that is clouding my senses
to be fair after talking to the wife i think what i'll do is drive mondeo repair pug put 12 months test on mondeo and sell both then try to get a 406 hdi estate it's gonna be loads more practical for us
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!!!!

There's a heated debate on the Honest John forums on this, saloon owners usually say no-one can see if there's anything in their boot and they're harder to get in to. I just think Ive got a nice big crow bar in my workshop that would take a few seconds to prize your boot open, so what if theres nothing in it, I didn't know that before I started.

Horses for courses innit, although if I was sure I was never going to carry much about I'd get a coupe.

So, no-one liked my Peugeot acronym? :(
