Every cloud has a silver lining... Never leaked, no intention of testing the strength of my roof :P

*touches rather large piece of wood*

I must admit I seldome use it, mostly when it's parked in the sun and I don't want to come back to an oven.

Remember in the 80's it was all the rage to have a sunroof cut into the existing roof

I actually owned a car that had one but thinking about it now it must have weakened the roof a tad

Nowadays sunroofs seem to be out of favour :|

I remember it wasn't a good idea to do it to an Avenger (Victor Meldew, The Crimson Avenger) as it relied too much on its roof for structural integrety. That's why they were lighter than corsEts.

The option these days seems to be aircon or sunroof and people would rather go for the aircon.

Like I have 8)

TBH though I hardly ever use the sunroof, don't even have that many hot days leave it open when car's parked in the sun :( . And I'd rather use the Climate Control for keeping cool :P

woohoo, got the car back today and no more clonk at the front. Its had the engine support bar (I think?!) replaced as the bush was fubard.I love it again.
Now to find the worlds best hidden heatshield thats rattling and sort the odd interior niggle. As for the original issue, the odd tick from behind the right handside front indicator:Its still doing it but not every time the car is used.No idea what it is but it doesnt seem to be causing much of an issue.
