Question

Post by steve_earwig »

I got this in the old email, it seems to come from a Bosnian agony column and appears to be real. I'd post the orignal scan but, you know...

For almost 6 months my wife has been acting strangely. When I'm about she whispers into her mobile phone and deletes messages immediatly. When she goes to town she arrives home late and tells me that she's been with friends I don't know. She doesn't use her car, she uses a taxi and, when she comes home, the taxi doesn't stop outside our house, it stops 100m down the road. I suspect this isn't a taxi, it's her lover delivering her home. I had an idea to park my car near to where she usually gets out of this "taxi" and hide behind it to see if my wife is cheating on me. One night, while I was crouching down behind the car, I noticed some rust on my rear right wheel arch. So, I need help: Do I change the complete wheelarch for a new one or should I use filler and refinish it?

Answer:
The smartest thing would be for you to reverse into this taxi driver's car and blame him, then claim off his insurance to repair both the damage and the rust. Get your wife to claim for whiplash too.

That is a slightly modified version of a Joke sent in to Terry Wogan's Breakfast show in 2005 if I remember.

Had me in stitches on the way to work one day - man concerened about wife then more concerned about his car :) (some would say this is very real) :|
