Eh? He's happy you didn't have to pay as much as you (or I) thought, why be sad?

Not in GB. Umm, my symtoms were the car not knowing which way to pull so make sure it is the bearings (rather than siezing ball joint, knackered rack, knackered pump...)

In that case, have a nice salad with some tastey boiled new potatoes, watch a little telly and head off for an early night :cheesy:

pig pudding supa , its shaped like a sausage and made from pigs blood :) or black pudding.

Black pudding or (less often) blood pudding is a British English term for sausage made by cooking blood with a filler until it is thick enough to congeal when cooled.

We had them for lunch yesterday, they were fantastic. It's pig killin' time again and it seems like there's so many krvavica (pig blood sausage) about this year people don't know what to do with them :cheesy:

And next it'll be češnjovke (garlic sausage) time, oh yeah! :cheesy: 8)

Squeal piggy!!

Hi Supa
I'm sorry to say this under the circumstances BUT, the main cause of spring failure is without exception the shocker in the strut has gone - strange it has not been picked up by MOT though.

Oh - I'd forgot that 406s have a reputation for the upper bearing failure that causes the spring to wind up and release with a clonk so that's another strong possibility - coil springs are designed for compressive forces not twisting force of that strength. Unless there is a fault most coil springs will last the life of the car.
