from my experiences, the standard OEM stuff is pretty much the same whether you get it from Peugeot, Halfrauds, or your local motor factor.
The latter is usually the cheapest.
Can't remember the exact ammount but I think I paid somewhere between £50 and £70 for new disks and pads up front when Peugeot wanted over £100. They wanted something silly like £213 fitted...........

Bendix or Brembo are the best, but they cost more.

The ones sold by the Swedish , French, German factors are usually good quality.

There are so many different makes on the market.

I would use the best quality brake parts that you can afford, your life is worth it!

I've fitted Mintex to mine, they seem pretty good. Not bad price on ebay either!

The £50 asking price is a fairly average price, you should be able to get them from some car accessory places for about the same price, ring round and check, you may save the postage cost.

My local shop sell these for the same price, £50, including discs and pads.

Just a couple of weeks ago the MOT tester commented on how good and well balanced the Mintex brakes on the front of my car are. Good stuff!

Another couple of questions... is it an easy job to fit brake disks on the D8 (i think!) it doesnt have ABS or anything... I have fited the pads before but not the disks... Also are the disks 260mm as standard?

Thanks!

I just spoke to someone at a local car parts dealer and he said he needs to know what make the brakes are that are already on there... do they need to be a specific make for the mintex pads and disks to fit? Or will they fit to anything? Thanks!
