I have this problem on my 406, I haven't been bothered to look at it recently, but I will next week just to see what's causing it.

I tried to fix it summer time, but gave up as I had more pressing problems.

you need to feed the little imps that do the lifting when you press the window buttons...
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

I've noticed the colder the D8 gets, the more annoying rattles and squeeks it produces. :x

hi stripped the door down and it turns out to be the plate thats riveted on to the door that's for screwing the door handle to.
It was solid enough but i got the mrs to pull on the handle while i were drivin and thats what it was.
So stripped the door card off and banged a screw up behind the plate to press it forward and it's stopped.
As for more rattles and squeaks when it's colder, i agree totally, does my flamin nut in - as soon as ya sort one rattle along comes another!
I thought my old mondy were bad but it aint a patch on the pug!

Thanks for the help
