keypad wont except code

i have just changed my engine in my diesel 406 but the keypad wont except my code please help

what year is your car?
also do u know the age of the engine u have just put in?
i would imagne its something to do with the ecu do you still have your old engine?

Did you fit the ECU from the donor car? They are matched, you won't get it to work otherwise.

As long as you still have the old ECU it should be possible to get the new one re-programmed to speak to the immobiliser. Chances are it's just a stored serial number, probably the chassis or engine's.
