i got my sri tubby a few months ago, its my 2nd car and is used daily. got a few mods on it.
planning on a few more in the next few months... more power + better sounds
there is a small amount of rust on the rear door, at the bottom. is this normal?
thats what i though, my old s16 didnt rust even wen there was a bit of bare metal exposed from a stone chip.
well its lowered alot, it grinds on everything i belive its a cat back system (wana get a decat) with a 4" pipe out back. its fairly quite and i want it abit louder (ie like a rs turbo) has a pipecross viper filter and silcone HT leads with colder plugs, short shift kit.
buying some motorsport rims for it at weekend. and then a few power mods and little things like steering wheel etc

Be carefull with the mods - your engine is not that strong once you take it out of it's comfort zone it was put together to compete with Fords and Vauxhalls at the time and was fitted with a small low pressure turbo to assist low end torque (which it does very well) rather than go to the expense of developing an all-new 16valve unit.
It's not really for ragging about in too much unless you want to spend a *lot* on beefing things up first like the Turbo, head gasket, cooling 'system', fueling, engine mounts, .....................
