lol, noddy lent his suzy out to big ears then  whats the work involved mate to drop a 306 in a suzy ? spose bodywork aint too much of a problem for an angle grinder, are you grafting some of the engine cradle out the 306 and fabbing it into the suzy chassis or ya going hardcore and fabbing the lot off ya own back, either way mate fair play to ya, im still contemplating of putting a 3.5 rover v8 in me hilux/taro

Using the gearbox from an LDV Pilot, mated to the XUD engine (same engine in the Pilot as the 306XND, just a different flywheel), 2" body lift to ease the bulk of the gearbox in the tunnel, remount the trasnfer box, chop/weld the props, move the axles out a few inches, etc, etc.

Don't think it's going to be done very quickly :D

Yeah I am but I reckon it's gone right downhill over the last couple of years, some of the twats on there could start an argument in an empty house! So I generally just post in our club bit (TUSC).

Pug diesels are one of the favorite conversions for zooks Pearl, they're not too bad to do. By far the most common engine swap is a 1600 out of a vitara though, loads of them around.

Not been on there for a while, can't drive the SJ right now after some surgery on my back last year so it's been gathering dust.

With a diesel you can do this sort of stuff.

With a petrol (1.3 swift gti twincam) you can do this sort of stuff.

I know which motor i'd rather be in

My other Car is....

A P12 Nissan Primera (Pile of Renault Shite, with creaking power steering, electrical failure, crack in windscreen, faulty auto wipers, worse suspension ever, cheap plastics and clicking rear brakes)

Which replaced a superb Ford Focus 1.8 TDDi Ghia with 163k on the Clock and still like new :D
