Water should drain through the doors (check drain holes in the bottom) although that looks like a bit of the old red stuff there so maybe too much is coming to to drain out. It usually comes from the tail lights.

Thanks for that mate,the tail lights were not something Id considered.Ill be checking out the area of that rust too and treating it so hopefully ill get it sorted.Although from the looks of it theres not much access into the actual door if I need to get in there.
