Re: electric sunroof
I've noticed genuine pug units being sold new as aftermarket accessories. Is there much more to retro-fitting, other than taking a jigsaw to the roof, tidying the headlining and doing a bit of wiring?
Not that I'm too interested, wouldn't want to affect the aerodynamics...
(nothing to do with the fact I'd WRECK my car doing it... oooooh no...)

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Re: electric sunroof
There's no way anyone could duplicate the flange in the roof (without access to a lot of special gear) so it wouldn't seal in any meaningful way and it wouldn't have any strength. It would be far easier to cut the roof off the donor vehicle, cut the roof off your car, weld, fill and spray it. Then it's a bit of wiring...
