i have a 00 HDi and it has an OBD II port. So if you're just looking to clear an engine management light then you'l have no problem

My 1999 HDi's done this loads of times and it always seems to be the throttle sensor.

So I guess the answer is there's no way of knowing for sure.

I tried it on a 307 before christmas & neither that nor the laptop would read the codes, but I did manage to reset it & it's been fine since?DaiRees wrote:

The diagnostic socket is the same so there is no way of knowing until you "read" it. The socket is behind a blanking plate, far right of the dash, knee height & next to the cruise arming button(if you have cruise).
