D9 steering wheel on a D8

Post by HimBigChief »

Would the D9 steering wheel fit a D8 generally, and more specifically would a D9 coupe steering wheel fit a D8 saloon?

Do they have compatable airbag systems, etc?

D9s have the horn on the steering wheel, so the electrical connection may well be different

I think a trip to the scrappies may be in order to see if they're interchangable. Will see if I can manage a quick trip up later this week.

Didn't Bluey fit a leather D9 steering wheel onto his D8 "Betsy"? The horn was non-functional though, but not sure about the 'bag.

Mine has a lion. It's covered in tiny scratches. Guess it kind of goes with the massively worn leather :)
