If you look at the bottom of the washer bottle, there are two pump motors, one for the windows and one for the lights.
You could try unplugging the light pump motor.
406 estate, 2.1TD, I fixed her, then part exchanged her for a Mercedes E300TD Avantgarde Estate.
Hmmmm, straight 6 goodness!

Anyone got a spare jet for a D8 headlight washer lying around aswell? Just checked mine and my Exec has one missing too. :cry:

Please excuse my ignorance. Are they not the same??

I can see that the actual unit is different, but are the jets look the same.

The one I've got is from a D8.

First one to say "Cheesy Wotsits" gets it!

Big chief. Did you ever get your speedo working in the end??

I think we already sussed the D9 is different, apart from the coupe which still uses the D8 one.

Not yet, still waiting on the box for behind the glovebox to turn up. I just filled up today (£65 quids worth) and my trip meter from the last time I filled up (to the brim) read 1.7miles! :oops:
