remote locking problem.

Hi all,

After purchasing my recent 406 2.1 Diesel estate with full leather interior, i was over the moon with its ride and build quality, however today the remote locking seems to have stopped working, The car unlocked ok, i drove to my local Ikea, however it would not lock via the remote, the car still locks via the key lock on the drivers door.

My question is do the high frequency remotes drop their signal connection with the car and if so how are the re programmed, I have two remotes and both red lights come on when the buttons are pressed but the car does not respond to the remote controls.

Any one have any ideas.

Try getting a new couple of batteries for the keys, they just prise open
