Manual Climate Control Lighting.

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Manual Climate Control Lighting.

Post by eoin27 »

I pulled out the radio today to get a coin out of the cd slot (Long story). And now the climate control area won't light up. Its not a fuse anyway. But the thing is that i can't disconnect the unit from the little bars because i'm afraid i'll break something. Both bulbs arent working so i suspect its not them thats wrong. its the manual controls. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

The filaments in these bulbs can break very easily, so don't be suprised if it is both bulbs that have blown when you've knocked them while removing/refitting the stereo. I had to replace a lot of the dash/clock/display bulbs when I took the facias off to paint them as they blew.

When I bought the tubby there were no backlights on the buttons for the climate control; I assumed that was how it came until Welly put me straight
I think there were 6 bulbs blown in total!
