2.1 crank pulley

Post by mark21TD »

My crank pulley bolt has come undone and the pulley has worn as well as the woodruff key but the crank seams ok ish, oh it through it's belt aswell
So, where can I get another pulley from, GSF online only show HDI one's, Euro parts say £102  but I'm not paying that if I don't have too and the one in the scappy has allready gone :(
Is the 1.9 the same or not.

Sorry, I wouldn't have said owt but it took me a while to work out what you meant

I'd think you'd have a hard job getting one off in the breakers.

Getting one off would be easy, finding one is the hard part.

Job done and running sweet, I needed it back on the road so dug deep and paid Europarts, done the cam belt as well and replaced the crank oil seal, the aux tentioner looked to have been replaced recently so left it there.

I striped of the cam belt yesterday in about 2 hours and didn't start today untill 2pm but finished it by 5:45, I also swaped back to the old injectors and blocked off the EGR (hamered a 10p into the manifold pipe, it's a realy tight fit :cheesy: )
All in under 6 hours.

And thats out in the road, no garage for me :(

Must use thread locking compound,or they will work themselves loose.
