I just got a tube of "Carlube" brand normal high temperature grease and a tube of copper slip from a "motor mania" halfords-a-like for about £5 together

Cheers Matt. I actually liberated a tube of copperslip from the ship's stores, but that seems to have disappeared somewhere between Plymff and Saafamton :(
