Re: La Grande Bière
Well, it's been a long week, that's for sure.
They sent Emma home on Tuesday because they needed the bed and the scans were inconclusive; she was semi fine Wednesday morning but when the oramorph had worn off it was straight back to square one.
She's finding the pain tolerable on diclofenac and codydramol, I got her a private appointment today with the gynae that operated on her in September.
We've been told that there was probably no infection (after several days of IV antibiotics
) and that the coil had triggered another episode of endometriosis; he's given her fentanyl patches and booked her in for another laparascopy to see what's happening. My nerves are completely shot.
I truly have faith in descent human beings though. The consultant waived his fees in exchange for me sorting a problem with his computers. I was utterly blown away/

Sorry to hear of your continuing problems, Teamy.
I'm heartened to hear of the consultant being decent to you, that kind of thing makes the world a better place.
Give your missus the bestest wishes from everybody on the forum, hope she's better soon.

Re: La Grande Bière
Thanks matey
I wouldn't worry too much, if your wife doesn't have a history of endometriosis she should be fine.
My wife had hers fitted by the doctor and she had trouble getting it in place as well.
Have a search on mirena coil side effects, mind you sometimes it's best not to know every possible complication!

But there's always being prepared.
Then, if I considered all the implications I wouldn't go out in the car. Or eat anything. Or get out of bed in the morning
Best wishes to all anyway.
