Does your 406 still have its front splitter?

Discuss the 406's Bodywork stuff in here (what parts fit what, what can be interchanged with what etc etc).

The thing that i'm worried about is not finding a replacement spilitter if mine goes, its the grips that it goes into are in terrible condition and i would need a new bumper to fit one properly.

Dai - How did you fit your laguna splitter??

Errrm ramps, stanley knife, torx drivers, stainless self tappers and washers, a bit of language and lots of getting up and lying back down.....

I trimmed the clips off the back edge of the scrap renault part, then found the middle of that and the middle of the pug bumper. The clips where you fit the standard rubber bit into will support and position the laguna bit quite nicely so line the middle up and job's a good un. Self tappers up into the underneath of the bumper to hold it. At the ends I took out the fixings for the bottom of the bumper and the liner thingy, then drilled corresponding holes in the laguna bit and refitted the fixings through it (couple of extra self tappers too IIRC). Getting the position right and equal around the corners can be quite tricky and needs a bit of trial and error.

Walking home very drunk on sat nite, i spotted a 96 D8 with a laguna splitter and an exec interior. Very happy about that. Must get myself a laguna splitter soon because mine isn't being held on too well. The bracket that holds it on is broken in places
