Door card lights
i have recently fitted door card lights to my rapier however they currently don't work, i have been told there are two ways of getting them to work first way is to take the car into a dealer and see if they can be actived on the bsi but it's around £70 to try this whether it works or not it's £70 or alternatively they can be wired into the switches in the doors which activate the interior lights but i don't know there to locate the wiring for the switches can anyone advise me of where to find this wiring.
Re: Door card lights
Try around the back of the switches near the door hinges
I'd run a wire from the overhead courtesy lights though as it's quite snazzy to have the door card lights fire up when you unlock the car
although of course they do dim and go out after a few secs

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Re: Door card lights
Just a thought guys.....
My overhead courtesy lights fade out & in, but the lights on the doors, (& the luggage area) dont. I think you might well overload the dimming ciruit with the additional load
