d9 air con help needed (pics included)

Hi guys

been fiddling with the ol air con again

still not working

The air con holds pressure (checked with the pressure guage on the refiller can)

Here are some pics can people point out whats what so i can fiddle with it, is the low pressure switch on any of my pics

you could take both of these out to see if the coils are broken



look down here and you will see the wiring connector on the top of pressure swictch
try wriggling it or even remove to check for contact quality

i will have a tinker tomorrow

i assume taking the pressure swithc out will release all of the gas?

are the two to the right of the engine bay that you circled ok to remove and inspect or will i need to have the replacement part ready, im not really sure what to expect as ive never fiddled with air con before!


Is there a way to quickly bypass the sensors to test?

Yes i think it will release all the pressure , try finding the connector first
then start car turn on ac then go and wiggle connector to see if compressor
engages. you can safely remove the circled items as these are electrical coils ,
check for break in the coil.

nice one, i will have a fiddle tomorrow

its a real shame as the car runs really well apart from this, im loathed to start shelling money out on air con as it would probably be a never ending pit!

Will let you know how i go!
