New User from Liverpool - 406 2.0 Petrol Turbo

Post by Chaz »

Hi All,

Just bought this for my Mrs. Not a bad car but have a few questions which I will post in the relevant section.

About registering - no gmail, understood, but we are told to post in the 'public' forum. No such thing found or im blind. I used another email address but will hope to change this to my gmail if possible?

Welcome Chaz! :D
I don't know about the Gmail restriction but your first 5 posts need to be approved then you can post freely. This is an antispam measure because we were being clobbered :(

Thanks. Ye, when I tried to reg with gmail account it says that its been disabled due to ongoing spam issues. Understood - just a pain as im sure many others use it as primary personal email.

That said - 2 more posts and I can post freely - woot.

Thanks - appreciate the welcome.

I hope many happy miles with this car and I must say I am impressed thus far. Will do a first drive tomorrow to the office - only 10 miles or so but looking forward to it ....

Also - how did you remove the vinyl from the pillars? This one looks OK apart from one that has bubbled, so would rather remove I think.

I've read that people remove it with a hot air gun.
