immobiliser

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

immobiliser

Post by keys84 »

I have just got the origional primary key working for remote locking
only have the one remote key
the car is a 96 d8 with a keypad
im having to type the code in when i get in still

i have figured out that the c button cancels the immob. so it is currently off
is it possible to make the immobiliser switch off when the fob is used
i would look in the manual but i still aint got one - so i need a step by step

Cheers peeps

There is a sequence you can enter on the keypad so you don't have to enter the code. Unfortunately I don't have a handbook with it in.

Anyone with a D8 handbook able to have a look?

Press C1C once you've entered the code to enable and C0C to disable.
