aftermarket remote for central locking

aftermarket remote for central locking

I have bought a remote control unit for my central locking and wired it to the passenger side door but it didnt work (maybe I connected the lock / unlock wires round the wrong way , I will be giving it a try again over the weekend but want to know if it is ok to connect it to the drivers side or does it have to be the drivers side?

only the drivers door lock will fire up the central locking
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

My passenger door locks all the doors too .
