Lowering/Wheels....?

Discuss the 406's Bodywork stuff in here (what parts fit what, what can be interchanged with what etc etc).

Lowering/Wheels....?

Post by Sisson »

Right then...

Tempted to lower my d9 406 saloon, and change the wheels.

Seen some tasty 307/206 17's i take it these will fit ok? What does the offset need to be on a 406?

Next up lowering, will probs just go for springs, 40mmish. Ideally id want coilovers but nowhere does them cheap, the coilies on my old passat were only £230! 406 ones are £860-£1k!!!

I want to see pics, show me some lowered 406's

Thanks in advance

Coilovers are really expensive for 406, I guess it's down to not many people wanting them? The look good on lowering springs, or get uprated dampers too.
