i have a 2.0 turbo excetitive and my speedo works in the hot weather rather than the cold.today drove from bristol to newport on the way back it started to work it bounced for several miles then worked fine all the way home any ideas on how to fix would be very gratful, already replaced speeo sensor in the gearbox. cheers darren

Dodgy soldering in the cluster is the other main culprit.

Same symptoms as mine. I replaced the speedo control box behind the glovebox and this sorted it for me. If that doesn't work, then dodgy soldering on the circuit board itself as stated above.
