hello there everyone can anyone tell me exactly what i have to buy to convert my cloth interior 2000 X reg D9 Rapier 1.8 to leather i want a D9 leather interior as i prefer the pleated seats is there any extra wiring or ECUs i have to buy? i guessed the rear seats are a striaght swap i just want to know what extra work there is! also does anyone know what all this lot should cost roughly? and if i can get all this together to recoup some money does anyone know how much a mint condition black cloth rapier interior could fetch! and also...i was hoping to get cream leather does anyone know how it would look with the black dashboard and door cards and dark wood interior
Thanks
Martin

Re: Leather Seat Conversion
i dont have any pics yet but its a standard rapier interior in MINT condition but im still in the first thought stage yet i need to wait until i get paid and see how much work is involved, i saw that picture from a car on ebay but i have black carpets and black door trims i photoshopped that picture to black capet and doors with black seat belts and i liked it, it was a nice contrast! once i know how much work is involved and if i decide to go ahead with it ill definatly let you know! :-)
Thanks

Yeah mate personally I don't like the cream carpets... Bmw's are the best at the cream on black look and they never use cream carpet either.
** If it ain't leather .. it should be black!**
When your closer to deciding PM me as i'm a real fan of the rapier interior.

Re: Leather Seat Conversion
i have done the same as what you are talking about mine is cream leather and black carpets and i think it looks good have a look at my pics on my topic called d9 interior and if you want to know how to wire them in have a look at my other topic called how to wire up a drivers seat that should give you some idea although i no longer have the wiring diagram due to my computer crashing hope this helps you make up your mind
