Peugeot Trade Club
So I saw a van go past me today with a big ole' Peugeot Trade Club logo on the side. Decided to investigate. As Jasper no doubt knows, it's a 'club' for motor repair tradesmen, claiming to offer discount original Pug parts. Or something.
Anyway, my question is what is this place all about, is it worth registering and can an amateur like me trick my way in?

There are advantages to being in the trade club, good discounts for service parts, but I get good prices for very good quality parts from other sources, eg, I have a Valeo dealer within 5 minutes drive, also in my town, there are factors for all types of OEM stuff, like Bendix and Brembo amongst others.
I get better deals from Citroen then Peugeot for stuff like oil filters (same filter, different name).
The Vauxhall Trade Club is the best, very good discounts, especially on oil (top spec stuff).
I usually only use the dealers for stuff not available anywhere else.
I have a good relationship with all the local dealers.I didn't need to register for all the dealer trade clubs, they have me on their databases as a trade buyer, so they automatically registered me.
If you feel there is an advantage for you, just say you are starting up in business and want to register.

My Bodyshop has trade club memberships but only with VW BMW AUDI MERC Vauxhall and Peugeot.. dealer only part can be a pain to get and discounts are hard come by!!
The easiest way to explain is.. it the same as your Tesco Clubcard!!!
Plus once a month you get a visit from a Trade Club rep from each brand and they ALWAYS bring mugs,t-shirts fleeces and the odd dirty calender............SWEET!!!

I've got some peugeot stuff to bring home so i'll drop it on here, fleeces t-shirts and hats. I'll put em in 'for sale' and if you want anything just send me postage costs and they're yours.
