Can an armrest be fitted to a seat without one factory fitted?

Not that I'm aware of. You need to either replace the seat or get one of the aftermarket armrests which mount in the centre console, available from either ebay or peugeot dealers

The factory armrest fixes to some support thing with the seat back rest and take quite a leverage when people (like I used to) bare their weight onto it to shuffty about the seat base.

The ebay jobs are pattern part after thoughts and look a bit flimsy to me.

I forgot it almost instanly :cheesy:

I thought I'd heard that all the seats were basically the same, (i.e. include the armrest bracket), but I can't check on servicebox during the day......

L and LX models didn't have armrests. Before any of you start shouting about your LX's with armrsets, the early D9 ones didn't
