Re: What a lovely motor!
i thought they had the monochrome sat nav on the information screen that just talked and showed arrows!

Re: What a lovely motor!
Correct. The sat nav display has no buttons. Just a sensor for the remote. Good find. The only thing i'd want for the extra money is a 2.2 HDi. But other than that, its perfect

Re: What a lovely motor!
Odd mixture of interior bitz - SE's have no wood & this colour centre console etc. Thought all 2003 on cars had white dials.
I'd say it's worth about 2.5k

I paid £3750 for the same spec car (no sat nav though) 3 months ago. Mileage was 61k (on 70k now
). Strangely mine doesn't have the silver surround things around the dials

Now that is weird, I've seen late SE's with the graphite dash trims but never a mx of it with wood

I dunno, there seems to be something missing at the back...peugeot406rapier wrote:what a lovely car!

My one-up-from-poverty-spec '04 has much the same dash (although without the extra set of numbers around the speedo and the wheel on the left as nature intended

It'd be worth about 8,000€ here, without the aforementioned dash deformities of course

Whoever said the interior of the 406 is bad, show them the interior of that bad boy!

Re: What a lovely motor!
It always amazes me how many cars you see for sale with 19,000, 29,000, 39,000 miles etc.
You rarely see them with 32,500 or 81,700, etc.
Is it pure coincidence or something else?

Re: What a lovely motor!
I bought my D8 at 74474 miles, sold at 145200(ish), bought a crappy Accord at 87981 miles, written off at near enough 108000. Bought this one with 61480 miles on.
Although, when I advertised the D8, I put 145000 in the advert due me still driving it and clock showing 144800...

Re: What a lovely motor!
it doesnt seem to be missing anything off the back...i thought i never saw a burr walnut/silver dash mixture before but it does look good! i too thought all last of the line cars had white clocks or was it just perhaps the S and SE but the executive was kept more conservative?
