Air Con problems

Post by bandittwelve »

Anyone know where the air con condenser is located on a 406 HDI (110)?
There is another smaller radiator alongside the main radiator but none of the air con pipes go into that one.
Thanks guys.

It should be up there at the front, the other smaller rad is the intercooler.

Does the main rad also include the air con condenser?

No, it'll be a separate unit.

The a/c condenser is the thin aluminum 'radiator' which you can see when you peer through the lower front grille and it has the cooling fan right in front of it. Common to fail along the lower edge and lose all the gas.

If you pop the 'Lion' mexh grille out you'll get a good look at it and the pipes.
