engin=e warning light

Post by robobone »

hi its me again

i did say i had a few questions to ask :P

i have an intermitant engine warning light come on and it says on my consul that anit pollution is the fault.
i can then turn off my engine and it goes off. so my local garage says they cant do owt unless it is showing at the time

can some one explain to me what this anti pollution thing is and is it easy rectified?

oh it only started after i changed a headlight bulb a few weeks ago is this a coincidence

thanks in advance

Had this on mine for a day or so, but then it cleared. (I changed the air filter cos it looked a bit clogged - this didn't clear it straight away, but a few starts later it cleared and hasn't been back for a few months - could have been coincidence).

On HDi's it seems quite common for this to happen occasionally and may not be anything to worry about.

- If you get it accompanied by 'Diesel Additive Low', 'Diesel Filter Blocked', or words to that effect, then that's a different matter.... :cry:
