MFD Illumination

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

MFD Illumination

Post by Doggy »

I suspect one of the bulbs is gone in my MFD, (D9 3-Line non-satnav version). The centre seems 'dim' & I think I recall seeing it has 3 bulbs to backlight the display. Is this right?
Anybody know what kind, so I can get some & only take it out once?

1.2 watt 8.5mm diameter capless bulbs if memory serves me correct, either Maplins, Halfords or a local motor factors places should have them (I paid about 95p each from my local place).

Cheers
