BSI Swapping

Can i swap a BSI over with one that has cruise control enabled and still use my current ECU, i have the immob chip from the key from the donnor car, but i'd rather not swap the ECU over because wont that mess up my mileage...anyway can it be done?

The one i have got to replace it is from another exec like mine, except the new one has cruise control, the one in the car doesnt, i also have the immob chip and ring for the ignition which was included in the lot.
