Hi all im have a slight problem with my heater fan sometime works sometimes dosnt how easy to get to this and how easy to test it any help would be very appreciated thanks

Get your head under the passenger footwell and look up. Chances are the big red wire going into the blower motor is badly burnt at the motor end - options are to clean and solder, or get a new blower (about £25 on ebay).

does this apply to a 02 d9 hdi as well ? my fan has gone awol even tho the climate control thinks its ok. my haynes manual lists fuse no's but i didnt find a pic with the numbers relating to fuses ???
