110 hdi engine complete with cooler etc

Post by Jay »

well as my 90hp hdi engine has now got a bent rod, i will be looking to change the engine, whilst i am doing this i think i might aswell upgrade to 110 haha,

i was under belief that the only difference was the map and cooler? but have since read different

so what im looking for is someone who has a complete 110 setup to drop into my 406, my car has 110k on the clock, so around that mileage would be great, or lower :) all im after at this point is a price, as im trying to raise funds to buy an engine :)

thanks

According to jameslxdt some time ago, you need:
engine harness
engine ecu
turbo
turbo solenoid
pipework
intercooler
camshaft

and depending on what fuel system you have, possibly:

fuel tank
fuel lines
HP pump
LP pump
body harness
fuel cooler
common rail
injectors
fuel pipes
fuel filter housing

and you may as well get a new dual-mass flywheel while you're at it

depends on milage but for a 110 /120 k miles i would reckon around 350 complete as removed, inc all ancilleries, f/wheel etc. harnesses are sometimes cut but often include fusebox and ecu.

its a new "normal" flywheel that replaces the dual mass item. it comes with a new clutch that matches the new flywheel.
