As a relative newcomer on here, i find the balance between tech knowledge / experience and banter just right.
Im a moderator on my local RSOC web forum and thats pretty much the same, however we are all local and know each other away from the keyboard.
For sure, lots of people on here probably dont use the search function enough but thats pretty common on most web based forums.
As for posting for postings sake, i tend to contribute as and when i feel i can add something, if that makes sense.
PS - Eoin - i like the wallpaper mate!

Like the majority of us I found this site when I was trying to fix something or other and it has become an invaluable source of information. As an added bonus I've made some good friends here whom I've never met!
I think we all like banter, especially when one is having a cr@ppy day at work. I know threads can go off at a tangent but as Welly says they generally steer back on topic!
Re Glastonbury; I didn't see any of it, I was at a bike rally in Bordon and very very drunk at the time!
