Boot open error

Boot open error

my dash display keeps telling me my boot is open, but its definitely closed, i have tried it a few times but its persistant. its pretty annoying becuase i cant see any of the other info on the display with this false warning constantly on the screen. how can i get rid of this problem?

Have you checked the boot switch?

where is it on the 406 its not mentioned in the haynes book?

Good ol' Haynes :roll: It's probably in the lock itself, I don't think the one that turns the light on will have much to do with it.

I've just taken the trim panel off for a look and found the switch, it had just worked itself loose, clipped it back in place and put some glue there too, all sorted now :cheesy:

it was getting on my nerves
