Why is insurance on my HDI 110 so high

Im 29 1 speeding no claims max ncb car parked in residential parking but my insurance is £380 a year online its even higher at £450+ why is it so high on a 2000 HDI 110 406 anyone got any suggestions for cheaper deals i live in peterborough but didnt think it had a very high rating

Hm, that's a little high. Last year I paid £360 for my D8 2.1TD with 4 years NCB + 2 speeding fines. Last week I paid £434 for HDI 110 with 1 accident + 2 speeding fines, 3 years NCB.

It depends on where you live and what your profession is, as that can have a huge impact.

2009 - 2013: 2002 Peugeot 406 2.0 HDI 110bhp Executive Saloon

2021 - ????: 2016 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 180bhp Titanium

Hmm well i just work in an office but note sure if the peterborough area is high cant imagine so its not really a big city, who did you insure with

I'm paying about the same as you are for my V6! :shock: 29, an SP30, 2yrs NCB and I only had my license 3 years when I got the quote, and I was living in a low-income part of Stoke :shock:
