Can the Sagem ECU be remaped?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Can the Sagem ECU be remaped?

Post by elnino78 »

Hey folks.
I'm looking into a remap for my D9. 90bhp petrol.
From my research it seems that the Sagem ECU can be done. Am I right in assuming this? Also, what are the knock on effects? Economy, clutch wear etc, etc?
Any info would be great!

Thanks! :cheesy:

Does no one know the answer to this?

I assume the make of the ECU is Sagem coz it has Sagem stamped on it. I don't see another name on it. All the posts of people getting their 406 remaped and no one can answer this?

I'm guessing no-one knows the answer or they would probably have replied. I've only been on here for about 9 months, but in that time, vitrually all the remap talk has been diesel related. Someone else may know more....

I had a quick squint and no-one seemed to specifically say they could remap a Sagem :(
