Cabin / Pollen Filter on a....607!

Post by adamp02v6 »

Hi Guys,

I recently got an 03 plate 2.2 HDI 607 to soak up the miles, trying to save my 406 V6 a bit and I'm really struggling to find the pollen filter!

I've read a few things on 407s on the net, having their filters under a cover in the passenger footwell. I've looked there on the 607 and it's just a mass of wires. I can't see anywhere obvious for it to go under the windscreen either (read that as can't get the plastic cover off!!)

Does anyone know with any certainty where it is on the 607? (53 plate)

thanks in advance

looking at servicebox, it looks like it's in the same place as the 406 - under the scuttle panel under the windscreen on the passenger side

Thanks MJB, I'll try and work out how to get the plastic fascia thing off without breaking it and give it a go at the weekend.

I paid 3000 for it, with 40k on the clock, bought it off my dad who got another 607 to replace it with.

My dad got a 57 plate 607 HDi 170 Executive with delivery miles on it for £13,500 from a dealer in birmingham. Seems peugeot have a load of top spec 607s they pre-registered and have to sell at "used" prices, so if you've got 14k to spare, get yourself a 27 grand car for half price!

LOL!

I love it, here in AUS they only sell 3 per month nationwide! They are pretty reasonable though - 80k, they undercut a 5 Series by a considerable amount...then again for a reason :P

I was shocked  at the difference between the 607 and the 406 (and 407) when my dad got his one.Its an incredibly underated car. I like underated stuff. Which might explain why i buy pugs and why my favourite guitar player is Richie sambora
