There's a few I recognise, the Anthrax boys must be getting on a bit!

To be honest the line-up this year was awful, but given how the xmas allocation (which went on sale the day after the festival) sold out in 10 hours, you need to buy the tickets without knowing who's playing

Still, there's so much more to do at the festival than watch bands - there's a MASSIVE beer garden selling cold beer by the litre stein, there's hundreds of stalls selling everything metal, there's strippers, there's a whole medieval "village" section with stalls, displays, bands, battles, etc, then there's the town a short walk away. Unlike UK festivals the whole town embraces the festival, and most of the residents have something going on in their front (or sometimes back!) gardens, whether selling food, beer, heavy metal gnomes(!!!)... Some of them even hired a large tent and put on a full-on rock/metal club with DJs, bar, loos, tables... I LOVE the place, it's a non-stop party of epic proportions
