I was thinking that but no tell-tale holes in the roof. Although it could be possible to add a sunroof...

What is this anyway, Ovlov corner? :?

I've had a soft spot for T5's since the old BTCC racing days, but check out this link for a 'money no object' one.

Tiny tiny tiny power band    Looks good on paper but I can't see it being a manageable car to drive unless it's got a very clever auto box on it, or at least a sequential box
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Very nice, i have always liked these and by god are they cheap to buy...you can get one for around £1000, and with something over 200 brake, thats a absolute bargain.. Whats the mileage on it mate?

Standard 92-96 850 T-5 is 225hp and 300nm

T5-R is 240 and R is 240 with an LSD.

A simple chip will give them a good 270-280hp and 380-400nm torque.

Mines got 134k on it.

Only paid £600 for it but spent atleast £2000 so far and still got a lot more work to go on making it faster (Remap, 302mm brakes, decat etc etc)

Cool, i used to know someone who owned the R and he said that he used to go through no end of brake discs and tyres come to think about it... But is was hell of a quick motor. 8)
