Post by Matt »

Hey can anyone recommend a supplier to get a passenger side engine mount for a 2.0 hdi, other than the dealers

how much do they cost from the dealers actually? my engine is rattling around real good lol

Hi,

From what i have read (i have a similar problam at the moment) its more likeley to be the top on on the drivers side or the bottom one thats at fault.

Also the passengers one seems to be the most expensive one too, its worth checking the bottom one as its very easy to see and tell if its worn.

If it is worn you will get some cracking where the rubber from the centre of the bush comes out to meet the outer edge of the bush - if you know what i mean!

Wrong. A worn mount can look perfectly fine, and some surface cracking doesn't necessarily mean it's shot.

Dealer-only part, at least for the ML5T. It's not too expensive though

called the dealer this afternoon they were asking £56.46 for one, which is a bit steep, he gave me the part number and I searched on ebay and found you can get a new one for £40 delivered...i'll do that.

for anyone searching in the future, the peugeot part number for the nearside (passenger side) engine mount is 182716

cheers for your help lads
