Newbie from the Shire.

Post by Arcangel »

New boy from the Aberdeenshire, Aberchirder Huntly

Have just got a 1996 406 Sal LX 1.9 TD. One owner from new, 36,000miles, S/H, non-smoker (driver), Sherwood Green, original number plates, dealer sticker, frt pads, air filter, garaged, very tidy inside, some cosmetic parking scares with the first owner and his garage entrance on some of the panels..but on the whole I'm loving it (got it for the miss really) but I driving it, need to bang on the miles

welcome :)
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

It was 3/4 Full fuel, final deal done at £850, but it only had two weeks tax an MOT left. A nervous two weeks before sailing MOT :D

Welcome Arcangel (fan of Airwolf, possibly?)

I'm based in Aberdeen myself (though I'm from Thurso, waaaaaaaaaaay up North).

I bought my V-reg 406 LX last year in damned near mint condition, with only 27k on the clock :cheesy: Had to go to Lossiemouth to pick her up. I now have 39,500 - so am on track for doing 15k per year ...

Pics of mine are in the link in my sig.
2002 (D9) Peugeot 406 Coupe SE, 2.2 litre Petrol. Scarlet Red/Rouge Ecarlate/Rosso Scarlatto. Black Leather interior. SOLD :(
2008 (E60 LCI) BMW 525i M-Sport, 3.0 litre Petrol. Carbonschwarz Metallic. Black Dakota Leather and Myrtlewood interior.
